Political scientist Kaloyan Metodiev is of the opinion that the chances of forming a new government are 50 to 50. For him, we are currently witnessing political uncertainty.
According to the expert, the parliamentary groups that will be formed in the new 45th parliament are very diverse. He stressed to BNR that it is not clear whether they will be coherent.
Metodiev is adamant that the biggest loser in this parliamentary vote is called Boyko Borissov. Many analysts pointed to the BSP and Korneliya Ninova, but the political scientist did not share their opinion.
For him, a possible resignation of the Socialist leader will throw the party into chaos and instability.
As for Metodiev’s opinion of Borissov, we are currently witnessing the beginning of his end. He believes that the GERB leader has shown weakness, not strength and the idea of compromise. Therefore, he does not expect to stay afloat in politics.
Metodiev also predicted that a period of instability and uncertainty is imminent in Bulgaria. He also defined it as a transit period of politics in which new alternatives and new messages are sought. The emotions of society are now entering politics.
