A protest demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov over the arrest of journalist Dimitar Stoyanov in Sofia will be held today. The demonstration will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be in front of the Interior Ministry, reported „Bird.bg“, where the journalist works. They published their position on the issue on their Facebook page:
„Pavel Ivanov Lisev, born in 1983, is the NRA (National Revenue Agency) employee who under the influence of alcohol verbally and physically attacked our journalist Dimitar Stoyanov and his wife. He was not arrested for his actions, unlike Dimitar. There are no charges against him either. His father, Ivan Lisev, was a „Rositsa“ State Security agent. He is associated with a company that still owes BGN 49,108.44 to the NRA, where his son works. Obvious dependencies.
We remind you that the head of the NRA, Rumen Spetsov, also committed abuses related to the company „Granex“, which he sold to a homeless man with a debt of 1.5 million to the NRA. Today, Spetsov stood behind his employee Pavel Lisev. There is a pre-trial proceeding against Spetsov for the tax fraud with the company, so he will stand both in front, and above, and below, if he is ordered by the Prosecutor’s Office.
Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov will also stand in whatever posture his puppeteers wish. Moreover, there are two pre-trial proceedings against him.
