You can check with the police that for years we have not had a single theft in the village of Ralevo. These are personal quarrels between Ivaylo Dimitrov and the Roma people in question. They are a minority, they are hardworking – normal European people.

This is what the mayor of the village of Ralevo, Asen Getov, told Iskra.bg regarding the information about ethnic conflict in the settlement and harassment against certain of its residents. According to him, things are radically different and there is nothing true in the posts of the wronged man in the Facebook group Spotted in Ralevo.

„Ivaylo Dimitrov is a closed person and a conflicted figure. He has never participated in the social life of the village. With his behaviour he provokes both Bulgarians and Roma. Come and ask his neighbours what kind of music he plays at unregulated times. Around him live people with small children who complain. Why do the Roma only behave like this with him? Nobody else has problems with them.“

Regarding the parties with loud music in the centre of the village mentioned in the complaints , the mayor said that he himself had rented a room for people to celebrate in. According to him, the gipsy in question always kept the curfew and stopped the music in the summer at exactly 23:00, after which they cleaned up after themselves.

The mayor of Marinka: Should the statistics become bloodier to limit the speed in the village?
