President Rumen Radev made a strong appeal to the political parties in Bulgaria, urging them to show more reason and responsibility instead of looking for another election. His statement was made on November 19, 2024, after his participation in the celebration of the combat holiday of the Land Forces.
The President emphasized the need to form a stable majority capable of appointing a government. According to him, the primary task of the parties after the elections is to unite in the interest of the country and its citizens.
„I expect more reason, not abdication to another election. Politicians must realize the situation around us and propose viable solutions,“, Radev stated.
The President’s appeal comes against the backdrop of ongoing political instability in Bulgaria. Frequent elections and the inability to form a stable government are causing significant challenges for the country. Radev stressed that the crisis situation requires unity and clarity in the actions of political leaders.
