Kiril Petkov revealed why he is being indicted right now

In a post on the social network Facebook, the co-chairman of “We Continue the Change” Kiril Petkov revealed why he is being indicted at this very moment. According to him, the sanitary cordon around Delyan Peevski has worked and he sees that there is a real chance for changes in the judiciary, which would mean losing his bat Sarafov. Here is what else Kiril Petkov wrote:

“Why are they indicting me now?

1. The sanitary cordon against Peevski worked and he sees that there is a real chance to lose his bat Sarafov through a change in the law on the judiciary. This is a loss of real power and he has to pretend to be scary. And in reality he is showing more and more weakness.
2. Peevski sends a signal to GERB not to betray him and that he has more influence on the prosecution. Peevski is lost if GERB throws him under the bus. So far GERB is scared of them and his dependency is working, but he wants to secure himself.
3. Sarafov wants to divert public attention from the other big scandal – the funds his family has been receiving regularly from private companies, as was brought out by BOETC.

This accusation only confirms that we are on the right track. „We Continue the Change“ took a very principled decision yesterday and will not be influenced in any way by Peevski’s slightly desperate actions through the Attorney General.”
