New 20 coronavirus positive tests are registered in Bulgaria. This was announced by the head of the National Operational Headquarters, Gen. Ventsislav Mutafchiiski. Thus, the total number of infected with Covid-19 reached 379 people.
There is a new patient in Sofia and there are also three infected in Varna. There is one case in Shumen and four more in Burgas. There are also four new patients in Kyustendil and one in Kardzhali. There are three more cases in Plovdiv and one more in Stara Zagora.
The infection also reached Silistra, where a man and woman family were infected with Covid-19.
A total of 113 patients are hospitalized in Bulgaria, including 13 who are intubated. There are no new deaths.
So far, 18 persons of the hospital staff have been infected.
The distribution of the disease by districts is as follows: Blagoevgrad (11). Burgas (18), Varna (20), Veliko Turnovo (2), Gabrovo (2), Dobrich (6), Kardzhali (6), Kyustendil (6), Lovech (1), Montana (17), Pazardzhik (7) , Pernik (5), Pleven (9), Plovdiv (24), Silistra (2), Sliven (4), Smolyan (7), Sofia (224), Stara Zagora (3), Haskovo (1), Shumen (4).
Of all the patients, 57% were men and 43% were women. The average age is 46 years and the average age of the deceased is 66 years.
Gen. Mutafchiyski also commented on the order issued by the health minister on the mandatory wearing of masks in a public place, saying that the same measure had been introduced in Israel last night. The grace period for the purchase of masks will be until 00:00 on Saturday.
