Today, the National Citizens’ Initiative “Stop 5G in Bulgaria, because health is more important” submitted a petition to the office of the National Assembly with a request:
“The National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria to adopt a decision to impose a moratorium on experimentation, construction and commissioning of telecommunication equipment operating according to the 5G standard on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.”
It is supported by 32,000 signatures of our compatriots. They were collected during the state of emergency and the state of emergency in the country. Another 377 signatures were given on paper. The minimum required is 50 pieces.
The petitioners want this moratorium to be in force until the indisputable results of epidemiological, experimental and other types of research that have been accepted internationally are presented.
They must demonstrate that there is no harmful biological impact on short-term and chronic exposure to 5G radio frequency radiation on humans and the environment around us – insects, animals, plants and others:
“We expect the National Assembly to rule with a decision within the 3-month period provided by the Law on the Direct Participation of Citizens in State Power and Local Self-Government (Article 52, paragraph 1).”
