The resignation of the government at the moment will not change anything, but will lead to the replacement of some protests with others. This was commented by the Minister of Social Affairs Denitsa Sacheva, pointing out that if there is a caretaker government – hungry people will pour into the streets in September and October. She added that there is nothing in GERB’s policy to be ashamed of:
„I do not compromise with my principles and conscience.“
„If someone understands politics as writing on Facebook, I don’t understand politics that way. If my actions have broken the law, I am ready to take responsibility. „
Currently, the unemployment rate is approximately 8 percent, said Minister Sacheva. According to her, the 60 out of 40 measure has contributed to 5.4% of people not losing their jobs.
The Minister of Social Affairs also commented on the case in Elin Pelin, where a woman claims that her husband abducted their daughter, and he in turn told „Iskra.bg“ that his ex-wife did not allow him to see his children, although he has permission from the court.
„Social workers have been working with this family for 2 years, and the court has intervened several times. There are many such cases in the country, currently there are 38. The court has ruled that both children should be with the mother. The last time one of the children stayed with the father, when he had to return him to the mother, she did not show up. The children are in a safe place, we will work to find a mode of coordination for a visit between the two. If this situation continues, there will be a new court decision on whether to keep the children with the father. „
