The asphalt of the Lion Bridge in Sofia cracked. A few years ago, repairs were made there for BGN 22 million and now it urgently needs new repairs. Today, Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova announced that she has ordered an inspection.
We remind you that a major overhaul was made in 2014. Then a flyover was built. In this way, the old look of the bridge from the beginning of the 20th century was restored. Retro lanterns, benches, hanging pots were also placed.
According to the calculations of the municipality between 07:30 and 19:30 nearly 28,000 cars pass through the roundabout. At the same time, citizens shared their outrage on the social network. Krasi Dimchev says:

Poor construction at inflated prices, repair after repair! We will never understand how such sites can be put into operation. Construction and repairs are a method of draining public funds from all governments in transition, and in the current they have reached their apogee”, added the Social Network.
