This is a progressive National Assembly because at least 1/3 of the MPs are really honest and have a vision how to take Bulgaria out of the bottom of corruption, but not enough for real change. That’s why we started doing the change piecemeal.

This was stated by MP from „We Continue the Change“ political party Alexander Dunchev. According to him, awarding the BSP the third mandate is logical in order to teach Bulgaria how to work in coalition formats. According to him, there are honorable people in all parties, but I am not sure about MRF.

If the BSP come up with an alternative, with which the benefits will outweigh the risks of new elections, then the „We Continue the Change“ will certainly support the third term,„, Dunchev.

According to him, it is necessary to follow the European path of coalitions, because there clear rules are set from the beginning, and „the Bulgarian government has not succeeded here“. Dunchev emphasized that we do not depend „neither on parties nor on embassies“. He also commented on how they continue to fight corruption:

Today I am going to Koprivshtitsa side by side with the municipal councilors from BSP to fight against a company connected to GERB. Tomorrow in Ihtiman, together with the municipal mayor from GERB, we are fighting against a company connected to MRF. 2 weeks ago, we fought against a new appointment of the BSP in Rakitovo, in the place of the director of the MRF, who did not allow any schemes, and the new one allows schemes. The only cause that drives us is change.”

Dunchev is adamant that all the appointments in the Ministry of Agriculture, with the exception of one – Deputy Minister of Agriculture Atanas Dobrev, who was dismissed, were honorable.
