„My personal opinion is that the fight against corruption is more important than the GERB government.“
This was stated by Alexander Dunchev from „We continue the change“ /PP/, who will be a deputy in the 48th National Assembly /NC/. According to him, the National Council of the party has already decided whether it will participate in a government with Boyko Borisov. It will be announced at a briefing at 11:00 a.m. by the co-chairmen of Continuing the Change, Asen Vassilev and Kiril Petkov.
Dunchev emphasized that the decision meets the expectations of the voters who supported them in the early elections. He hopes to have a regular government, since the official cabinet „played its cards“ with the dismissal of Prof. Hristo Daskalov as director of the BABH.
„“We continue the change“ will really fight for the fight against corruption, whether in the government or as an opposition – it doesn’t matter at all,“ commented the deputy.
According to him, it is not right for the parties to „accumulate“ in the right-wing space.
Dunchev explained that if the second mandate comes to „We continue the change“, they will negotiate with all parties. According to him, it is important that other formations have the same principles as them – that the state be freed from corruption.
„The resistance is brutal at all levels,“ Dunchev is emphatic.
