All Bulgarian pensioners will receive a supplement of BGN 50 to their pensions for the month of September. This became clear at the beginning of the regular government meeting. More than BGN 106 million will be allocated for this purpose. They are intended for 2.1 million retirees.
“The funds will be transferred to the NSSI accounts today”, said Prime Minister Boiko Borisov.
He stressed that for the second month in a row, financial assistance will be provided to the most vulnerable Bulgarian citizens.
“We plan to set aside the same additional amount for October. The situation in the world is not easy and we continue with our actions in order to be able to support every Bulgarian”, Borisov wrote in his profile on the social network Facebook.
The government has also decided to allocate funds for infrastructure projects:
“Infrastructure projects have always been the focus of government work. They are an inalienable priority, despite the difficulties facing the coronavirus pandemic. Because our goal is an even better, faster and safer trip for every Bulgarian.”
BGN 379 million have been allocated for the modernization of nearly 69 km of the Vidin-Botevgrad road between the Makresh road junction and the Montana bypass road.
The Vidin-Botevgrad direction is a leading project in the investment program of RIA and the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, as the modernization of the route from Danube Bridge II will provide a fast and convenient connection between the Hemus, Trakia and Struma highways. more on Facebook Borisov.
According to him, the road Vidin – Botevgrad was like a “flooded river” on which people and businesses would return to the region. Borissov also announced that the planned 200m euros in the new budget of the European Union will be in support of the Northwest.
