Once again, we see that the words of constructive opposition and responsibility for the important decisions for Bulgaria are missing in the actions of GERB. This was commented by the chairman of the parliamentary group of „We continue the change“, Andrey Gyurov, after GERB returned the second mandate immediately after receiving it. According to him, with its actions, the second largest political power is bringing the country into another political crisis.
He added:
“You saw, we did everything possible to fulfill the first mandate. Unfortunately, we did not manage to collect 121 votes.”
The future is in the hands of the head of state, added the deputy. He revealed that „Continuing the change“ has received an invitation and tomorrow at 09:00 a.m. he will appear at the consultations with Radev, at which it is expected that talks will be held about opportunities and implementation around the third term. His party would support talks about the program drawn up with the existing coalition partners „BSP for Bulgaria“ and „Democratic Bulgaria“.
“This program, which we have presented to all the people’s representatives and to the citizens – we will have conversations about it if we are invited”, Gyurov added.
In the event that the mandate goes to „There is such a people“, „We continue the change“ are categorical that they will not negotiate with them, because they were the ones who ruined the existing coalition.
