The State Enterprise „State Oil Company“ will be established – this was decided after the MPs adopted at first reading the proposal for the construction of state gas stations. 143 deputies voted for the document, one was against and 4 abstained.
100 sites in our country are to be built. The goal is through our own oil company to ensure our country’s competition in the market and this to lead to lower prices for customers.
The Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov explained that the state gas stations will clearly show how fuel prices are formed. According to him, the tax warehouses will be registered like any other object under the Fuel Act.
If the law is approved by the end of June, gas stations could start operating in March 2021, and the State Oil Company could be established in early July.
