The informal group „BG Elves“ published the third and final part of their list of names, which they claim is of vote buyers. As of now, the Ministry of Interior and the Prosecutor’s Office have not officially responded to this information.

We would like to remind that the first part of the list was distributed at the end of last week. It covers the regions of Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil, Kardzhali, Pazardzhik, and Pernik. „BG Elves“ justified their actions by stating: „Purchased votes in Bulgaria are a scourge for democracy. /…/ We are starting to publish the names of the thugs who trade in people’s votes. Part I: https://pastecode.io/s/hez9cz89.“

A few days ago, a candidate for Parliament released similar lists of people and nicknames, who are allegedly buying votes for another candidate. He subsequently stated that his information aligns with that of „BG Elves.“ According to him, now is the time for complete public intolerance: „The Ministry of Interior must know that even the slightest attempt to cover up or delay will meet with total intolerance and protests. All responsible institutions must quickly understand that if necessary, we will push the train of statehood forward ourselves, but we will not allow it to return to the gangster paradise of the ’90s.“

Part two of the list followed over the weekend. It is entitled – „Names, nicknames and schemes of work“ and covers the districts of Burgas, Vratsa, Plovdiv, Sliven, Smolyan, Stara Zagora, Sofia and Haskovo. The list also describes schemes and indicates which political formations, according to the group, are involved in vote trading.

The third part of the list of vote buyers was released this morning. It covers the regions of Montana, Vidin, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Gabrovo, Razgrad, Targovishte, Shumen, Lovech, and parts of smaller municipalities such as Lom, Knezha, Cherven Bryag, and Ugarchin. It includes both names and additional information, indicating, for certain individuals, that:

“They have a lot of funds, according to unconfirmed information, up to 500 leva per vote.”

“Corporate vote: „Wood for a vote.“

„BG Elves“ claim that certain individuals are organizers, others distribute the money, and some exert pressure in favor of specific political forces, which are named accordingly. As of now, there is no official information from the Ministry of Interior regarding this list.
