Representative of the Organization for the Protection of Bulgarian Citizens /OPBC/ Biser Rusimov was the first to find himself in a difficult situation and thanks to his quick and adequate actions the problem was solved. The incident takes place last night after 8h p.m. Rusimov was driving his car on Tsar Kaloyan Street in Burgas when he saw two people literally „flying“ out of a restaurant after a fight between them. Both ended up on the ground seriously injured.
He parked his car and was stopped by another man. He went to the place and saw that one of the two men was in a worse condition and was completely unresponsive. His front teeth were probably knocked out.
Rusimov did not hesitate for a moment and signaled the responsible institutions. He called the emergency number 112, from where they sent a team of police officers in a patrol car and an ambulance. After arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers began to act according to a protocol, first downloading data and information. For their part, the medics from the emergency team wanted to take one of the victims to a medical facility, but he refused.
A little girl witnessed everything that happened. Rusimov saw that the kid was crying and shouting:
„Dad, Dad!„
It turned out that the other man who stopped with him knew the girl’s father and himself. A few days earlier, he had rented them an apartment in Burgas. He explained that they were Austrian citizens and did not speak English well.
Rusimov tried to communicate with the crying girl and calm him down. He also asked the waitress from the place where the unpleasant scene took place to distract the kid while he tried to find her mother.
The representative of the OPBC and the broker who rented the apartment went together to the residential building. There they managed to find the mother, who was in the apartment with other children. Rusimov explained to her in English what had happened and she was very upset. He came back and took the girl to her.
Thus, thanks to the timely actions of Biser Rusimov from the OPBC, a way out of the difficult situation was found and a little girl who witnessed the fight was returned to her mother.
