The civil movement BOEC announced that it has filed a complaint for the complete annulment of the parliamentary elections held on October 27, stating that their arguments and motives will be made public. According to their statements, chaos has been created in the country, undermining trust in the democratic process.
Leader of „There Is Such a People“, Slavi Trifonov, also stated that TISP will demand the partial annulment of the elections in specific polling stations where violations have been identified, including the lack of video surveillance. Trifonov called for gathering 48 signatures from MPs to refer the matter to the Constitutional Court.
According to Trifonov, morality is more important than party interests, and he insists that TISP will defend the democratic process regardless of political biases. He also expressed approval of BNT for providing objective information in their coverage.
