BOEC civil movement is seeking the resignation of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov, after the video circulated, which, according to technical claims, shows a conflict in the establishment between the head of the „Criminal Police“ department, Asen Yordanov, and the security guard. After an inquiry by Iskra.bg on the website of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Stara Zagora, according to which the head of the „Criminal Police“ department is Commissioner Plamen Petkov, our journalist spoke with the leader of the association, Georgi Georgiev, in order to clarify the discrepancy. Georgiev specified:
“They probably haven’t reflected the changes on the site yet. Some of the chiefs are acting temporarily, others have not yet been appointed permanently. that the person is the head of the „Criminal Police“ and did not deny the existence of data on such an event, but refused to give me additional information.”
BOEC’s Facebook post states that this is the first of two entries, the second of which will be published tomorrow. It also describes the chronology of events, namely:

This is happening in Stara Zagora in 2023, a few months ago in the Ego discotheque. We know the exact date and time. Yordanov is there with his son – then still a cadet at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – and another acquaintance of his. Yordanov is drunk and accidentally bumps into a boy from the establishment’s security. They exchange lines, after which the policeman intervenes and they fight.
Five more guards quickly come, and the rest of Yordanov’s company also jump to fight. They are quickly taken out of the establishment and thrown out of there – this can already be seen in the second recording. This recording was received at „BOEC“ by a person from the criminal contingent. The criminal elements exchange it among themselves and comment on how they beat up and threw out the head of the „Criminal Police“ in the city.

Yordanov did not inform anyone that he was involved in such an incident.
The next day he went to the manager of the establishment to beg that this not become public knowledge. He forbade him to enter the establishment in question again. That’s how it goes with criminal types and drug addicts.
Yordanov comes from the BOP – these are the personnel of Minister Kalin Stoyanov – former head of the GDBOP. Almost all the appointments in the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are staff of the GDBOP, including the director of the ODMVR-Stara Zagora — Lazar Hristov, under the control of the DPS and Peevski. After that, they remove all the heads of departments under themselves – „Criminal Police“, „Highway Police“, „Investigation“, „Security Police“ and appoint people from GDBOP in their place, like Yordanov from the video. This is the scheme by which the DPS is currently taking over the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the top is Peevski, under him is Halil Letifov, and through Kalin Stoyanov, directors are appointed in the Ministry of the Interior, who then appoint technical personnel to all key positions in the system. People without integrity and quality, but loyal to the mafia, DPS and Peevski, and ready to carry out the orders of the masters.

This is against the background of the latest case in Stara Zagora, in which a 58-year-old citizen died and his relatives expressed doubts that he was beaten and killed by officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during his detention. „BOEC“ cannot comment on these events for now because we do not have enough information. But from the published video, everyone can form their own opinion about the „qualities“ of the personnel appointed by Kalin Stoyanov! That’s why citizens rightly do not trust the Ministry of the Interior. Therefore, this system has been turned into a service group of the DPS and the mafia.”
