„Forbidding people to leave their homes is the only measure we have not taken yet.“
Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said this and explained that at this stage no such decision was made because a strong network had to be created.
Social services, the army, and the fire department should be involved in this network. This will make it possible to provide the necessary products to people, and especially to adults who are lonely and have no one to serve them.
It is also necessary to anticipate the orders that will need to be made and how many months they will take. In addition, it is necessary to know how much to spend and how far the measures should be tightened. Borisov stressed that Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev has already begun to engage in this activity.
The team of Iskra.BG recalls that Prof. Nikolay Vitanov from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences/BAS/predicted that the problem of the infection can be solved in a few months.
According to him, if the quarantine is not violated, within 3 weeks we will have good news about the spread of the disease in our country, and in 2-3 months the crisis may pass.
Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, for his part, announced that two more factories in Bulgaria began to produce protective clothing, and today doctors will be provided with protective masks. Within the day, 8000 of these products are to be delivered to them by the Regional Health Inspectorate staff.
