The Prime Minister Boyko Borissov ordered a cold reserve to be used only by the state thermal power plant „Maritsa East“ 2. This was announced by the government’s press service. At the beginning of today’s regular session of the Cabinet, he ordered the Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova to explain to the National Assembly that this is the decision of the Council of Ministers.
„You are removing the cold reserve from now on. Cold reserve, if we need – only the state TPP „Maritsa East“ 2.“
Until now, the state also paid money to Varna TPP to be ready to produce electricity if necessary. This is the so-called cold reserve. Varna TPP is owned by the honorary chairman of the MRF Ahmed Dogan.
As Iskra.bg informed you yesterday, the prosecutor’s office started an investigation after Hristo Ivanov posted a video on the social network Facebook. In it, he claimed that all state institutions „close their eyes.“ The anti-corruption fund was also contacted, but the revenue agency did not find any irregularities. At the same time, two prosecutors have been „passing the ball“ to each other for months, arguing over which one should investigate.
According to Hristo Ivanov, these „gifts“ made by the state of Ahmed Dogan show the dirty secret of the unannounced before the public coalition between GERB, the United Patriots and the MRF.
