The period of validity of the „Green Certificate“, which is obtained for illness, will be extended. He is currently six months old and will be one year old. This was announced at a briefing by the Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov. He stressed that a change in the order in this direction will be made today. But it is important to emphasize that the extended certificates will be valid only inside Bulgaria. These people will not be able to travel abroad. Katsarov stressed out:
“Because the interest in vaccination has increased and people want a certificate quickly and they have focused more on the one-time vaccine. To eliminate this defect for the needs of our anti-epidemic control, as a document is issued for the first dose, the document will serve one month until the second dose. This document will be valid until you receive a certificate. I also want to emphasize that a green certificate is not a certificate only for vaccination.”
He explained that signals had been received from affected parties that time was needed to implement the measures. Therefore, it was decided to change the control. A grace period will be given until Monday, so that the various sites and structures can organize the implementation of the new measures. Until then, if the Regional Health Inspectorate goes for an inspection and finds that there is a violation, no sanctions will be imposed. Only prescriptions will be issued.
Another thing that has been decided is to help the sites that need to have certificates for their employees. Therefore, free tests will be provided so that people can be tested before work. A person who has the right to perform them will perform them, and those with a negative will go to work.
“We buy a lot of tests. Free tests will be provided to all laboratories. RHIs also received funds to purchase tests. Contracts for a marginal sampling price will be concluded. So if laboratories want to join the sampling program, they will have to be bound by a contract. The maximum price has not been agreed yet, but I assume that this will happen today”, the caretaker minister explained.
He also spoke about their intentions towards the state and municipal administration:
“What we are considering for the state and municipal administration – the people who are at the counter, we must create conditions for a clean environment. They will be required for tests, vaccinations or illness. This is the place from an epidemiological point of view, where if the chain is broken, the implementation process will be interrupted.”
Katsarov stressed that they impose these measures because the other option was a complete lockdown. But in reality, with their introduction, people are forced to be vaccinated, which must be a voluntary act. That is why mass protests took place in the country yesterday and the citizens said a resounding „no“ to medical fascism.
