The newly established laboratory cases of COVID-19 are 39, , with 15 of them being in hospital. This was reported this morning by the Chief of the National Operational Headquarters Prof. Ventsislav Mutafchiyski. According to him, the tested samples are 1912.

The total number of laboratory cases reached 2331 in Bulgaria. The active cases are 1484. Activity was noted in 9 areas.

A week ago, we announced that the information system that should be provided every day when a positive case comes out is still not well synchronized and is currently being actively worked on. The data is adjusted – references and checks are made with the names. Next week we will announce what we have found. There is a difference of about 2% in plus and minus.”

We will explain by dates where the pros and cons are. From the very beginning of our work, we announced that there would be no manipulation or hiding of data. We’ve identified several people who aren’t listed. “

The distribution of the new cases is as follows – 14 in Sofia, 10 in Pazardzhik, 5 in Yambol, 3 in Vidin, two in Blagoevgrad and Razgrad, and one each in Kyustendil, Veliko Tarnovo, Lovech.

There are new cases of infected children a 4-year-old child in Sofia, and a 17-year-old in Razgrad. They have no pronounced clinical manifestations and have not been hospitalized. Two more medical professionals are infected – a doctor, and a nurse from Sofia. Their total number is now 248.

More 43 new people were cured today, or a total of 727 people.

For the third day in a row, the number of cured people is higher than the newly identified infected people. God forbid this should be a lasting trend.“

Four people died suffering from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours – a 79-year-old man in Blagoevgrad, two 75-year-old patients in Pazardzhik, and a 45-year-old man in Yambol. The total number of deaths with confirmed positive test for COVID-19 was 120.

At present, 287 people are hospitalized, with 31 of them being treated in intensive care units.
