Democratic Bulgaria withdrew its political trust from the mayoress of “Krasno Selo” district. As “Iskra.bg” earlier informed you, Rosina Stanislavova has paid herself and her employees part of the money under the European program „Patronage care for the elderly and people with disabilities“. The scandal was found out yesterday during a meeting of the financial commission at the Sofia Municipal Council. Under the project in question, the Krasno Selo region has received BGN 375,000.
„The mayoress of the “Krasno Selo” district, Ms. Stanislavova, has set a morally unacceptable precedent by designating herself as a project manager receiving additional payment under a European program implemented by the regional administration.“, said in his post on the social network Facebook Metodi Lalov, Chairman of the “Democratic Bulgaria” group in the Sofia Municipal Council.
He also revealed that this morning the coalition leadership called on Stanislavova to find a way to recover the money she had taken, but she did not do so. That is why „Democratic Bulgaria“ has donated the equivalent of this amount to SOS Children’s Villages. It is about BGN 7010.
„Democratic Bulgaria” is withdrawing its political trust from Ms. Stanislavova. We call for a full audit of the application of this program in all districts of Sofia and insist that the results be made public.“, Metodi Lalov wrote on Facebook.
