“The formation of Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev has the capacity to govern the country.”
This was commented by the politician and historian Prof. Dimitar Ludjev. He is of the opinion that the fact that Boyko Borissov and his clique have fallen from governance has enabled the change in Bulgaria to begin. But then there is both good and bad news.
The bad thing was that the showman and his parliamentary friends turned out to be „little ones“. According to Ludzhev, it is „There are such people“ that have ruined the chances for serious change, as well as for the elimination of Borissov’s corruption.
The good news is that they did not come to power, because apparently, according to him, “There is such a people” does not have the capacity to govern the country and it was not known what they would do. Everything has provoked the emergence of a new formation – „We continue the change“ by Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev. It is she who demands a serious political influence.
Ludzhev predicts that a parliamentary coalition will be formed and the next regular government of change will be elected on its basis. It will be reformist and its task will be to carry out deep reforms in the public sphere. According to Ludzhev, Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev make a good impression and point out precisely and clearly what are the problems that need to be solved in the country. In addition, they have proven that they have the capacity and that they know how to solve them. It all depends now on whether they will enter the next parliament.
According to Ludzhev, the Bulgarian Socialist Party will definitely have to join a future coalition. According to him, the Socialist Party has a serious group of young people with capacity who are also reformist.
As for the presidential election, according to politics, Rumen Radev is the only important figure in Bulgaria and he sees no other candidate who could stand up to him and defeat him.
