„The state is not for private use. In all our actions, we were guided by the Constitution, the laws and the interests of Bulgarian citizens.“
This is what caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev said before the last cabinet meeting. He said:
„Thank you for showing courage, and perhaps a dose of recklessness, six months ago by agreeing to be ministers and giving up your right to personal peace. Despite the attacks, the provocations and the problems, you showed nerve and character in the battles we fought to give the country back to the people. Because the state belongs to the people, and the best ruler is the one who is ready to part with his power at any moment.“
„Let’s give the state back to the people, because it belongs to them,“, Donev concluded.
The Council of Ministers is about to be dissolved by a decree of President Rumen Radev and then a new one will be appointed. At this stage, it became clear that Galab Donev will again be the head of the new caretaker government.
