On December 11, around 05: 00-06: 00, there is a fight near the chalga disco „Dock 5“ at the sea station in Burgas. Our reader HG and the patriots from the Organization for the Protection of Bulgarian Citizens (OZBG) reported about what happened to Iskra.bg, who sent us the footage from the last video. Other eyewitnesses say there are problems at the club almost every week. According to them, a similar fight took place on December 3 or 4, but no information about him is found anywhere.
Who are the participants in the action from last weekend?
At the heart of the conflict is 23-year-old Vasil Kiryakov, the son of local businessman Ivan Kiryakov, nicknamed Benkata. The father, for his part, is also known as a partner of another famous citizen of Burgas, Plamen Dishkov-Kela.
How does a quarrel arise?
Vasil Kiryakov argues with another client of the nightclub, after which a fight between the two companies begins inside the disco and is transferred to it. The group of the first one takes out a taser against the other boys, which can be seen in the video. In the beginning, the fight was in the immediate vicinity of the water, which in turn created serious preconditions for fatal accidents.
According to our media sources, Kiryakov Jr. was very excited in his behavior. Since he had a birthday on the date in question, he probably celebrated his holiday at that time, which ended with an exchange of fists.

Benkata is a manager of PRO AGRO INVEST OOD, and his son, in partnership with other people / including the father /, are the owners of the company. The share of Vasil Kiryakov is 30%.

What is the role of the municipal government regarding violence in discos?
About 10 years ago, the mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov made an attempt (at least seemingly) to stop the melees in front of nightclubs. He revoked the work permit after 00:00 for two of them – „4as pik“ and „Vogue“. Somewhere then, after a meeting of the competent authorities, it was decided not to allow certain people to the discos – classified as conflicted persons, whose presence carries risks of physical quarrels. As you can guess, the measures were neither observed nor lasted long. Accordingly – they did not lead to the desired result, namely the security of citizens and the peace of mind that going out to have fun, nothing bad will happen to them.
To date, there are many questions that in such a situation we would like to ask the responsible institutions. Hoping to receive an answer for them, our editorial office will send an inquiry to Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, in which we ask:
- How long after the signal was received by the police did the law enforcement officers respond on the spot? What actions have they taken and have they been detained?
- Is the fight of December 3 or 4 reflected in the bulletin of ODMVR-Burgas?
- What measures will Mayor Dimitar Nikolov take regarding the case and will he take any action on the issue of the fights in front of the nightclubs?
- As long as the heirs of the people with money will impose undisturbed „justice“, they are sure that the laws do not apply to them. If this incident had been fatal, who would have been responsible?
The spokesman of ODMVR-Burgas commented to our media that a signal was given to the First RU-Burgas for the fight by one of the victims. At the moment, camera footage is being downloaded, witnesses are being questioned and testimony is being taken. The case is yet to be clarified.
