Important reshuffles have been made in the last hours in the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture. This is what Iskra.bg learned from its well-informed sources, who requested anonymity.
Two of the agency’s executives have been relieved of their posts. The deputy director of the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture Hristo Panayotov has parted with his position.
Sergey Kostadinov, the secretary general of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Agency, has also been dismissed from his post.
It is not yet clear what the exact reasons for the reshuffle are. It is also unclear whether the two men themselves have asked to be relieved of their management positions at the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture. It is currently unknown who will take their posts. This is expected to become clear in the next few days.
The Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture at the moment is Dr. Nikolay Georgiev. He took the post in August 2023. Before him the agency was headed by Assoc. Vanya Stamatova. Nikolay Georgiev is the first from Varna to head the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture.
