Have they turned us into the scarecrows of our time?

People without faces. Communication at a distance. They are afraid of you. You should be afraid of them. You are identified daily as a potential source of infection.

To live out of harmony with yourself in order to preserve your own or someone else’s health? Struggling to keep your positivism when they flood you with negativity. To instill in you the fear that you will die. To be told that you can kill your loved ones. Trying to be healthy in an unhealthy environment…

Thursday is coming. Then comes the obligatory wearing of masks.

There are no requirements for the workmanship and the materials from which they are made. There is only one condition – our faces to be covered. Not to see our smiles, to stay away from acquaintances and strangers. To be scared and to scare others. Because someone somewhere claims to take care of our health, and consciously turns us into expressionless beings who spread infections.

Is what is happening healthy?

The coronavirus is probably scary. And even if we try to be cynical about whether it’s serious, we knock on wood so it doesn’t come to our heads. We are afraid it would catch up with us or those we love.

However, living in fear is also not at all safe.

Because fear has the power to eat us from within, to make us sick, to collapse our emotional state to its lowest levels and to turn us into people who are easily manipulated. Fear makes you sick – because of possible notions of possible future events.

The coronavirus may be dangerous, but is the constant flow of negative information safe?

Doesn’t it lead to depression in some people? Is depression easy to treat? Is it safe? And yes – when you show up on TV and explain that we may all die soon, there is a great danger of causing a heart attack of a grandmother who dreams of living to see her grandchildren who have gone abroad because of you.

So, if you can’t kill people with coronavirus, misery and impudence, kill them out of fear. Either they will have a stroke or depression, which will cause them to commit suicide.

Are we the scarecrows of our time?

The ones everyone should be afraid of. Those who should stay in their homes as much as possible and not meet people. Those who do not have the right to social life because they are dangerous and may encounter other dangerous scarecrows?

But the scarecrows are alive and have the right to air.

To breathe – without feeling guilty. To have faces, to give and receive smiles. To take care of the harmony of their spirit, which in itself is a major source of good health. To be accepted as personalities.

Thursday is coming. The masks are coming too.

Masks that oblige us to wear, but no one has provided us. Masks that depersonalize us. Masks that many health professionals describe as „dangerous“ to health.

The fines are coming. Scarecrows have no right to an opinion, they have no right to participate in the creation of laws that they must otherwise abide by. They have no right to take care of themselves, because pumpkins, caps, PKPs and other robbers determine what is good for them.

The masks are coming on Thursday. We put them on and run away from each other.

We used to walk past each other. There are only scarecrows around us now.
