Distance online learning after November 11 will continue locally, i.e. only in some areas. The high schools located in the „red zone“ will continue remotely, while the universities will decide for themselves how to continue, said the Minister of Education Krassimir Valchev for „NOVA“. He believes that this is the best opportunity for more students to learn in person.
Minister Valchev explained that a formula is being sought between crossing COVID-19 and learning to live with it. According to him, schools should be closed last.
Increasingly, teachers want to go on vacation or teach remotely, said the minister. He revealed that his colleagues are frightened and the fact that the disease is dangerous cannot be ignored.
Only 0.4% of students did not join e-learning in March, said Minister Valchev. He revealed that the closure of nurseries and kindergartens is not expected and assured that the year will not be zero.
