„Democratic Bulgaria“ /DB/ will get three ministries – Justice, Environment and E-government. This was confirmed by Hristo Ivanov on the air of „NOVA“. In his words, their expectation is that each party will sign a separate coalition agreement with „We Continue the Change“.
„From our point of view, the text of the coalition agreement is clear. This will not be easy governance or an easy coalition. Any number of concerns can be articulated. I don’t want to fool anyone. We are determined to work to overcome all the problems and to have a working government.“
During consultations with the president, the DB expressed concerns about „party feudalism“ if each minister appointed his own team. Ivanov disclosed that it was decided that each political party would send an adviser to the different ministries.
„Each party has a Deputy Prime Minister – so these are some tools that could be used to overcome such a tendency. We must all work together to prevent this from becoming a problem.“, the DB Co-chairman added.
