Heavy insults are exchanged by the deputies at the moment before the fifth attempt to elect the President of the Bulgarian National Assembly. The debate has been going on for two hours and during that time a number of remarks have been heard in the plenary. Yavor Bojankov stood up and announced:
“Bulgaria needs a programme! It cannot do with the Revival – PVU, which was sabotaged by the pro-Russian party Revival; this could lead to a dictatorship in Bulgaria. Politics is not a 50-meter sprint, but a marathon. I will vote against the election of Silvi Kirilov.”
A series of severe attacks on Bojankov followed. The political party „Revival“ announced that he was a man who drove a Hello Kitty and was mocked even by women. Balabanov pointed out:
“Aren’t you ashamed of yourselves, “Democratic Bulgaria” and Bulgarian Socialist Party! Your whole faces are shining in front of the whole Bulgarian nation! With the “We Continue the Change” we manage to think beyond party to fight the mafia!”
This was followed by accusations against the political party „Revival“ that only they voted „abstain“ for Raya Nazarian and this was because Kostadin Kostadinov’s party was afraid Boyko Borissov „not to slap them lightly behind the neck!“.
Radostin Vassilev from MECH, for his part, said from the rostrum about Yavor Bojankov:
“You are a monkey with a bomb! You are a little lady who will soon be without a party!”
Toshko Yordanov also hurled insults at Bojankov:
“You are a red fart in the ranks of “We Continue the Change”. You have a big problem with this misunderstanding. It’s clear what has to happen, I guess “Democratic Bulgaria” will come to the right move too, but with such sexual-mental physiological mistakes of nature, sometimes it’s hard to work!”
