A trend of violence is returning to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is also being carried over to the streets. This accusation was made on by the former Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Demerdzhiev.

Demerdzhiev was adamant that what the police do is a function of the way the law enforcement system is run. And the relationship between the minister and the chief secretary was no better than it had been before. Their own goal was to rule together, but they had neither a common idea nor a common goal.
The former minister emphasized that video cameras should be installed in official vehicles. It is in this way that it will be understood how a given police officer reacts in a certain situation. The budget of the Ministry of Internal Affairs allowed such devices to be purchased, but it was a matter of reaction on the part of the department’s management.
Demerdzhiev also made a comment regarding the adopted changes in the Constitution, which refer to the judicial reform. He did not consider that they were correctly established, but he emphasized that some details would be added through changes in the legislation and therefore the judicial reform would take place.
