One of the reasons Lukoil is marauding the fuel market in Bulgaria is the state representative’s worthlessness in the company. This is what Ivaylo Mirchev, MP from „Democratic Bulgaria“, believes. He pointed out in a Facebook post that the „holder of the golden share“ does not work in the interest of Bulgaria, as for 4 years he has not provided any information to the Ministry of Energy, although he is obliged to submit 3-monthly reports.
„The scandalous representative in question first became famous as the head of the „National Electricity Company“ SAD when he obliged the state by contract to pay 1.3 billion levs to Russia, for which our country was later convicted and the amount paid. Later, he became a hero in Apartmentgate, after it turned out that he had bought properties for an amount many times lower than the market price and resigned as Deputy Minister of Energy,„, Mirchev pointed out.
This is why the MP sent a parliamentary question to the Minister of Energy about the replacement of Krassimir Parvanov as Bulgaria’s representative in Lukoil. Mirchev received a reply stating that such a replacement is being prepared and a competition will be announced.
The MP wrote in conclusion that he would insist this to happen by the end of this month because the damage the country was suffering was enormous because of the inaction in the Lukoil and Litasco case.
