Students from first to fourth grade will return to school next week. It is still unclear whether this will happen on Monday, announced at an emergency briefing caretaker Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov.
„Denkov and I have signed and now we are submitting to the Council of Ministers a draft decree to provide BGN 13 million for the purchase of gentle tests for children. They are based on secreted saliva. If the test is positive, the child should not enter the school until the quarantine has expired. This is an approach used in many other countries. I hope to provide these tests as soon as possible. We will place an order today.“, he stated. Then he added:
„If the Ministry of Education and Science, the teachers, the parents’ organizations, manage to organize this process well, we will be able to return the present training to school without increasing the risk, because it remains a primary concern for us. Our wish is to return the children to school next week. But it will all depend on when we manage to provide the tests.”
For his part, Minister of Education and Science Nikolay Denkov announced:
„What closes public institutions are not the ministries, but the risks of children’s illness.“
Denkov explained that there was no way to return all the children to school at the same time, so it was decided to return the youngest to class first, then those from 5th to 7th grade and up to 12th grade. Parental consent would be required for children to be tested and the Minister appealed for this to be obtained.
The parent organization National Network for Children also took part in the briefing, announcing that they support the new measures envisaged by the caretaker government, because they will provide face-to-face training. In addition, testing will avoid quarantining entire classes for one infected student. Katsarov, on the other hand, said that this would happen twice a week, thus improving the chances that the children would not infect their parents, grandparents, who are having a serious illness.
„We want to provide a safe environment and this also applies to teachers. Therefore, they will have to be either vaccinated, or get sick, or take the appropriate test.“, Katsarov said during the briefing.
Thus, after the doctors, the teachers are another group, which is attacked and imposed by medical fascism and they will be asked for a „Green Certificate“.
