We need to have a constructive coalition government that has come together not on the basis of necessity, but on the basis of clear policies and a written plan. This was announced to „24 Chasa“ by Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev. Petkov stressed that the more detailed the agreement with the other political forces is, the less likely there will be conflicts in the future. Therefore, they have not proposed their program and plan, but have structured groups of specialists in each field and each party will give its best personnel. He stressed that it was time for the Bulgarian „A“ team to start answering for all these issues.
Asked with whom they are negotiating, because the situation in the other parties is dynamic in view of the resignations, Asen Vassilev pointed out that the negotiations are conducted with their leaders. But if they nominate other people, conversations will be had with them. He also stressed that the first dialogues show that the stated support so far is enough to form a government. And that is why they hope there will be a very detailed agreement, similar to the one in Germany and Austria. For his part, Kiril Petkov said it was good that they had seen a constructive dialogue with each of these parties. They have felt that they realize the responsibility they have.
Asked how they would get along with the BSP regarding tax policy, Kiril Petkov said that in the first place they should agree on the thefts. If they are stopped, then there will be much more money for left-wing purposes such as education and health care and no one will be below the poverty line in the country. He stressed that there is a problem and it is corruption that swallows huge sums of money that go to a small number of people.
Petkov also talked about how they will ensure zero corruption, saying that there will be no ours and yours and everyone will be measured with the same yardstick. This is exactly why they needed a strong justice reform to make sure that those who catch them will be held accountable. And that no one should feel at ease if they use public funds. He stressed that as long as they are in these positions, they guarantee that there will be no tolerance for corruption.
