The Commission for Combating Corruption and Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property has made more saints than the Bulgarian Orthodox Church for the last 100 years.

This was stated yesterday from the rostrum of the National Assembly by Konstantin Bachiiski, the MP from „We continue the change“. His statement was made at the beginning of the debate on the resignation of the chairman of the Commission for Combating Corruption and Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property Sotir Tsatsarov.

In front of the other MPs, Bachiiski also said that despite the data that became public for certain individuals, almost all the people who were checked out came out with a halo. Including people who have been checked under the Magnitsky Act several times, and this guide did not find any discrepancies.

The MP expressed confidence that the next committee will be much more effective in the fight against lawlessness.

We remind you that soon Konstantin Bachiiski was not voted as chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission. The probable reason for this is that in this way he would have a power that many would not like – a certain sample of people accustomed to lawlessness, which he would end without a gram of hesitation.

Such determination against atrocities is characteristic of Bachiiski, as he is one of the few individuals who truly fights against corruption and his actions are selfless in the name of Bulgaria.
