BGN 30 million is missing from the budget of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This was announced at a briefing by the caretaker Minister Andrey Kuzmanov. BGN 25 million of them are from public procurement, and the remaining BGN 5 million were under the programs.
Kuzmanov said the renovation of the gyms has not even begun.
An inspection was launched at the National Revenue Agency. The Minister stressed that they are not an investigative body, but can ascertain what is within their competence.
Kuzmanov expressed hope that his successor in office, Radostin Vassilev of „There is such a people“, would continue the ongoing inspections at the ministry. The caretaker minister also said that if someone wanted to find out what had happened, there were many other things that could come out in the coming days. And he regretted that the caretaker government did not have more time to do what it had started.
