No one can fire you because you did not present a Green Certificate. Lawyer Maria Petrova was categorical in this. She said that employers and business in general are now at a great disadvantage. The situation is the same with children, but they cannot go out to protest and make declarations and signatures.
Therefore, the lawyer stressed that people should know that no one can be fired just because he has not presented a „Green Certificate“. But here is a very important question – whether if we are not allowed to work, it is said that you have excommunicated yourself.
The reason for this question is that in the health sector, the coronavirus has in fact been equated with an occupational disease and there is an option where it can be said that safe working conditions must be observed. But for everyone else, COVID-19 is not an occupational disease and cannot be included in such a column.
Therefore, we now have to wait for a recommendation from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy to know how to react to people. So far, the solution that has been found is to put these people on unpaid leave, if there is any talk at all. Thus, if someone is determined by his right to work, it is not the most humane thing that can happen in society.
According to lawyer Petrova, a solution can be sought from now on by postponing the actions of this order until it is interpreted by the Ministry of Health together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. In addition, it must soon be clear what will happen to the children who need to be returned to school as soon as possible.
Why once again a big curtsey was made before the state administration, and at the same time the business was cut off – to consider compensation in this direction, writes lawyer Maria Petrova.
