„There is a risk that the increase in pensions and the zero VAT on bread will not come into force on July 1, but I believe we will succeed.“
This was stated by MP from „We continue the change“ political party and a member of the Committee on Budget and Finance in the National Assembly Plamen Shalafov. According to him, it is possible that when the VAT on the price of bread is reduced, it will fall for a certain time, and later the reduction will be removed. According to him, this is identical to the price of fuels in our country and the projected reduction of 25 cents per liter.
Shalafov pointed out that the minimum wage would not increase again this calendar year, as it would be a huge shock for employers. He also commented:
„There will be layoffs and reorganization in the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Finance.“
Plamen Shalafov is adamant that in order for there to be an increase in salaries in the administration, it should be reformed. According to him, the budget is anti-crisis, not reformist.
„Certainly the requests we made at the beginning of the year for strong reforms in the update will not happen,“, he said.
