Mothers from the civic initiative „The System Kills Us“ and representatives of several parties protested against the background of the first working day of MPs this year. Their dissatisfaction began not under the windows of the deputies, who were already sitting in the former Party House, but in front of the building of the National Assembly on the National Assembly Square, where the parliamentary administration remained.
The protesters’ demands are for resignation, and this time they want an audit of all government activities during this term. They chanted „Resignation“ and „Mutri, out”. Citizens are also demanding fair parliamentary elections in the spring.
From the building, the demonstrators headed to the National Library and the monument to Vasil Levski. Traffic was blocked. The social network Facebook from the „System Kills Us“ reported that there were clashes between law enforcement officers and protesters. There is an increased police presence in the area.
