The National Assembly will vote tomorrow on a draft government proposed by “There is Such a People“, including a Prime Minister in the person of Plamen Nikolov, although it was withdrawn. This was decided a few minutes ago at its second meeting of the day by the Conference of Presidents. The news was announced to journalists in Parliament by Nikolay Hadzhigenov of Stand Up BG! We’re coming!“ The vote will take place tomorrow morning and in all likelihood the item will be first on the agenda.

Hadzhigenov recalled that they had declared in the morning that there was an act of the president on this issue and it was final and stable and the ball was now in Parliament.

„This is our game and we can’t not play it!“, he said.

Hadzhigenov stressed that this was a precedent and warned that it should be played very carefully because it creates a new right. From his words it became clear that the decision was not taken with full unanimity.

The members of “There is Such a People“ party were worried that Parliament might not comply with Plamen Nikolov’s request not to become Prime Minister and that he should become Prime Minister by force.

But this is within the framework of the fun that is on their part.“, Hadzhigenov added.

It became clear from his words that the other parliamentary groups managed to convince them that this would not happen.

A little earlier, Earlier, Presidential Adviser Emilia Drumeva was adamant that the National Assembly should decide the case because it is already in Parliament. She participated in the meeting of the Conference of Presidents. Drumeva was firm that the Head of State could not do much in this situation.
