A decision of the Kazanlak Municipal Council caused a peaceful protest to be organized in the center of Kanchevo village.
The citizens spoke out against the decision to provide land in the village’s territory for the construction of a photovoltaic plant. They planned to demonstrate their discontent by gathering at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow in front of the building of the „Hadzhi Dimitar-1927 “ People’s Community Center.
„Come to defend our land and our right to be informed. We express our disagreement with decisions, by anyone, that are detrimental to the residents of our village, especially when they are taken secretly and behind our backs!“, the organizers commented on Facebook.
