The head of state was greeted at the Naval Station by a group of about 10-20 protesters who demanded his resignation and accused him of being a divider of the nation. The president greeted the protesters and walked past them to officially greet the military and Minister Karakachanov.
The activities that are carried out in the waters of the bay are part of the exercise “Breeze 2020”, which involves nearly 2,500 servicemen from 9 different countries. 27 ships, two planes and 7 helicopters are participating. The demonstration today began with a fire on a merchant ship, actions on land, at sea and aerial combat. It remains to be seen how to limit the oil spill, how to evacuate a wounded soldier and how to control a hijacked ship.
