President Rumen Radev responded to Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, who yesterday accused him of filming him with a drone. After a meeting with Pernik Mayor Stanislav Vladimirov, he announced that he would partially veto the Interior Ministry Act, but did not disclose his arguments. However, he added that the footage of the sleeping Prime Minister shows that his life is at risk. According to him, this intrusion into privacy is not permissible and specified that an official inspection is underway, which must establish all the facts.
Asked whether he still pilots a drone over Borissov’s terrace and yard in “Boyana”, where the two are neighbors, the president said:
„It’s paranoia for me. I have a limit to my imagination.“
The Head of State described Borissov’s statement as „an attempt to seek geopolitical indulgences for the scandal abroad.“
„And, of course, this scandal inside our territory is turning into a farce.“
The president wants an independent expertise on the authenticity of the audio recording and photographs. Asked if he broke up with Desislava Radeva, he laughed and invited journalists to go to Sandanski tonight, where the couple will celebrate his birthday together.
