The municipal councilor Dimitar Naydenov alerted about a new disgrace committed by RIEW-Burgas. According to him, the inspection has allowed construction in a protected territory and two protected zones in the area „Polyanite“ in Sinemorets. Naidenov revealed that this was done despite the fact that the properties have lost their status in urbanized territory.
„The violations of RIEW-Burgas continue, this time with permits of RIEW for construction in agricultural lands. How does this work? The Law on Protection of Agricultural Lands states that any land that has changed its purpose and has become a regulated land property on which construction can take place, if construction has not started by May 2017, it automatically loses its status as a regulated land plot. property and again became agricultural. But RIEW-Burgas even after that date allowed to build on already agricultural land and thus rudely violated the law. It’s even worse when it comes to such properties.„, he said in a video.
The municipal councilor emphasized that after the permits of RIEW-Burgas, it is currently being built in the “Srandzha” Nature Park, in two protected areas, in the “Polyanite” area, where there are 32 regulated plots of land. According to him, many of them have expired their status and become agricultural lands again. However, RIEW-Burgas has allowed construction after May 2017.
Naydenov has referred these cases to the Prosecutor’s Office and expressed hope that they will not be shoved under the carpet again, and that the state prosecution will really take action to unravel them.
In a post on the social network Facebook from October 12, the municipal councilor also revealed who initiated the procedure for approving the construction:
“At that time, the current director of RIEW-Burgas moved the procedures for the properties in question as head of the Department of Biodiversity, protected territories and protected areas, and he was directly responsible for non-compliance with the laws, but instead was promoted to director without mandatory competition.“
In addition, Naydenov explains that the properties in question could not be re-urbanized because they belong to the municipality of Tsarevo, which currently has no adopted General Development Plan.
“Even if such is adopted after a while, the indicators of construction of these properties cannot be high, as now agreed by RIEW-Burgas, but must be greatly reduced within the specified parameters for zone „A“ in the Law on the Structure of Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.“, Naidenov claims.
