The deputies in the National Assembly of Bulgaria reached another self-dispute, which turned into a physical clash.
Nastimir Ananiev from „We continue the change“ received a blow to the abdomen from Hamid Hamid from the MRF. While this was happening, Delyan Dobrev’s words to the Speaker of the National Assembly Miroslav Ivanov were heard in the background:
“Give me a break, there will be a struggle.”
The reason for this obvious display of anger, helplessness and lack of morality is not clear.
The attack came after a declaration was read by Kostadin Kostadinov from Vazrazhdane.
We remind you that this is not the only case in which there is a fight in parliament. On March 18, the parliamentary session began today with declarations made by GERB-UDF, „We continue the change“ and „BSP for Bulgaria“.
Tensions rose during a speech by BSP’s Georgi Svilenski, who addressed GERB lawmakers with the words: “people who have been assassinating Bulgarian democracy for 12 years are talking about democracy”.
As a result, Svilenski was surrounded by opposition lawmakers, who argued that he was insulting them and “talking nonsense”. Svilenski told them:
“Your fear that each of you is involved in what is happening leads you to call for resignation.”
Nikola Minchev had to step down from the presidency to calm the passions in parliament. In the end, he took a break to restore order in the plenary hall.
