You must be thinking not very pleasant things about Bulgarian political life. Me too. Especially when I looked at him from the outside. And now I look at him from the inside and I will tell you what I see.”
This was written on his Facebook profile by the party leader Slavi Trifonov.
In his publication, he considered the political life in the country as “a reflection of our dreams, desires, intentions, fantasies, fears, hopes, dislike, disgust, participation, distance and what not. In fact, Bulgarian political life is a reflection of ourselves. As trivial as it sounds, that’s right”.
According to Trifonov, “there are different people in the parliament and in the Bulgarian political life. And bad people, and good people, and stupid, and smart, and moral, and immoral, like all of us. Exactly as much as the people living in one block, in one neighborhood, in one Bulgarian city can understand, just as the deputies in the Bulgarian parliament can understand. And to say it’s not good is just that, and it’s better not to say anything about it. Besides, I do what is up to me and how much I can. I try to do the right thing consistently.”
The leader of „There is such a people“ wished „wisdom, strength and success“ in the upcoming vote and concluded that “democracy is a wonderful thing because our destiny depends on all of us”.
