„Democratic Bulgaria“ and „Stand up. BG! We are coming!“ Refused to support the government of “There is Such a People“. It was clearly stated in the public space as well. This means the following – the protest against GERB and everything done by GERB are in the past, and in the present and in the current parliament there are political ambitions, all ambitions, hypocrisy, betrayals and games – absolutely unacceptable for me and my colleagues from TISP.“
This was announced by “There is Such a People“ leader, Slavi Trifonov in a video on „7/8 TV“, published on the social network Facebook. According to him, the following will happen because of this:
„I guess it is clear that we have done everything possible and all the compromises to the so-called protest parties to support the TISP government as the first political force. We did everything possible to keep people calm, to have a government and to be happy with the protest parties. This did not happen because of the betrayal of „Stand up. BG! We are coming!“ and „Democratic Bulgaria„.
According to Trifonov, the word „betrayal“ is not heavy when someone betrays you.
„We will not propose a draft cabinet for voting tomorrow at all, because we have clearly stated that without the support of the ‘protest parties’ we will not propose a cabinet.“
This means that we are going to new elections because TISP as the first political force in the current parliament will not support the status quo parties for the next parliament, neither Democratic Bulgaria” nor „Stand up. BG! We are coming!“ Trifonov did not miss the fact that there is still a chance to form a government if all other political forces unite.
In the upcoming presidential elections, TISP will support candidate Rumen Radev, Trifonov announced and, and finally he thanked for the support.
