This was commented by the leader of „There is such a people“ Slavi Trifonov in a video published on his profile on the social network Facebook. He emphasized that, despite this, Boyko Borisov won again a few days ago in the early parliamentary elections, regardless of whether he can govern or not. This is what the sovereign decided, Trifonov emphasized, and said that he sees strange things in politics.
„He’s coming back, but seeing how he’s acting like Leopold the cat—friends, let’s live together. What does it matter that these two arrested him?“ added the leader of „There is such a people“.
When asked what he would say about the arrest of Boyko Borisov, Trifonov said the following:
„I was at a restaurant during the arrest. And the moment I go out, I suddenly find that the restaurant is full of police, which surprised me a lot. And I asked my colleagues, with whom I communicate and have dinner, what this police is doing here, they said that it turned out that the former Minister of Finance Vladi Goranov lives there. And then I saw that I had received a message from Kiril Petkov, in which it appeared that he had arrested Boyko Borisov, Vladi Goranov, Menda Stoyanova and Sevda Arnaudova firsthand.“
„During the creation of the coalition, I did not raise the issue of services at all. In fact, I asked if it would not be good for each of the coalition partners to have a Deputy Minister of the Interior. They said that each ministry was for the political party in charge of it, although they then brutally interfered in the work of the ministries for which „There is such a people“ was responsible. Even about the arrest of Boyko Borisov, I did not call to ask what was going on. The only thing that concerned such an important case, I understood as a text message received as Kiril Petkov, and I think the same is true for the other coalition partners. The only case in which I raised this question is when Kiril Petkov called me as the head of the BNB and connected me to the meeting where Cornelia Ninova and Hristo Ivanov were present and I said I wanted to ask“, added Trifonov.
