A few days ago, the Ministry of Education and Science started an inspection of schools in Burgas, our source informed us. The reasons for it are reports of corruption and abuse of power. The inspection will continue next week.
From the information that reached Iskra.bg, it is clear that the object of the inspection are the Regional Department of Education in Burgas, „Zahari Stoyanov“ Evening High School, „Bratya Miladinovi“ Primary School and „Hristo Botev“ Primary School. According to our source, violations of various nature have been found and documents have been seized. In his words, everything that happens on the territory of the Burgas schools passes through the Head of the local Regional Department of Education in Burgas, Eng. Violeta Ilieva. Then he added:
„Everything that happens in the education system at the local level cannot go unnoticed by Ilieva. It is not possible to carry out activities in Burgas schools without her pressure.„
